I am a dedicated bilingual Junior student majoring in Computer Science minoring in Mathematics, Business Administration and with a certificate in Data Analytics at Illinois Wesleyan University. Originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador, I moved to the United States alone at 18 to pursue my career goals where over the years I have developed solid analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills that have helped me overcome the socio-economic challenges while getting my degree.

By having completed valuable experience in technology-related fields, my goal is to demonstrate the potential of Latino individuals to take on significant roles in high-values industries. Personal Finance Tracker

In PyCharm, using Agile methodologies developed a full-stack website that allows users to manage finances by tracking income, expenses, savings goals, budget limits, categorizing transactions, and viewing spending trends over time via interactive charts

American Sign Language Recognition

Python(PyTorch, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Pandas)

Used transfer learning with ResNet18 to classify 29 ASL signs, optimizing performance by preprocessing 87k+ images, reducing training data, and automating data import with custom DataLoader pipelines.
